NIANTI IS GOING TO NEW YORK FOR THE 2026 YOUTH OF THE YEAR NATIONAL FINALS
Our 2026-2027 Pacific Youth of the Year, Nianti, is headed to New York City to compete in the 2026 National Youth of the Year event. Since 1947, the National Youth of the Year program has honored and celebrated our nation’s most inspiring youth and their incredible achievements.
This October, Nianti will represent the Pacific Region at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Youth of the Year Finals, where outstanding youth representing 5 regions across the country will compete for the organization's highest youth honor. One of the 5 outstanding young leaders will be selected as the National Youth of the Year, representing Boys & Girls Clubs and millions of youth across the United States.
A 10-year member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Nianti is an exceptional part of our Monterey community. From volunteering at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center, tutoring younger ones in the Club’s literacy program, and teaching 9 and 10-year-olds to dance in Grupo Folklorico, her passion for caring for children drives her future aspirations. This fall she will be starting at UCLA, where she hopes to become a pediatrician and spread the compassion she gained at Boys & Girls Club Monterey.
Join us in wishing Nianti good luck at this year’s Nationals!
