Every day at the Boys & Girls Clubs, we ensure that kids don’t go home hungry. We offer each child a warm, nutritious meal after school. During the summer, we feed kids three times per day.
This season, with increasing prices and SNAP benefit uncertainty, we can also make sure that families do not have to make the impossible choice between food on the table and holiday joy. YOU can make sure that families have holiday joy!
A gift of $350 sponsors one child and provides their family with:

38th Annual Golf For Kids 2026
Since 1988, Golf for Kids has empowered thousands of youth in Monterey County. Founded by the late Jim Griggs, this prestigious tournament offers a full day of exceptional experiences—including a buffet breakfast, golf clinic, shotgun start tournament, and a celebratory evening with a reception, dinner, and awards ceremony. The event takes place at the renowned Monterey Peninsula Country Club, providing a stunning backdrop for this meaningful day.
It’s the perfect opportunity to entertain clients, connect with colleagues, mingle with celebrities, and support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County.
33rd Annual Comics for Kids Event 2026
Comics for Kids is the largest fundraiser benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County. Hosted by a professional comedian, this unforgettable evening—held at the elegant Inn at Spanish Bay—features a lively reception, silent auction, raffle, dinner, a special performance by Club youth, and a high-energy live auction, culminating in a 30-minute stand-up set from the evening’s headliner.
Enjoy a night of entertainment perfect for hosting clients and friends, all while helping thousands of local youth build brighter futures.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County 2025 Youth of the Year Awards Event
Youth of the Year is the highest honor awarded to a Boys & Girls Club member—a recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence, and commitment to community.
Outstanding teens from our Clubs compete for scholarship awards and the opportunity to advance to regional and national levels of the competition. Held at Embassy Suites in Monterey Bay, this inspiring evening features a welcoming reception, powerful speeches from our youth, and the announcement of the Monterey County Youth of the Year.

2025 Johnson-Toney Football Camp
Our summer football camp is more than a game—it's a launchpad for life. On the field, Club kids build confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Off the field, they gain mentors who believe in them, safe spaces to grow, and opportunities to lead.
