Through our annual Adopt-A-Family program, Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County served more than 350 children and their families last year—families who are working hard, dreaming big, and navigating a challenging season. Thank you for all of your support!
This year, even more families have asked for support, as they struggle to put food on the table this holiday season.
A gift of $350 sponsors one child and provides their family with:

👖 Two pairs of pants and two shirts
🧦 Socks, shoes, and underwear
📚 An age-appropriate book
🎁 A special gift from the child’s own wish list

Our dedicated Club staff will use your contribution to shop for each individual child and family, tailoring the gifts to their special requests and ensuring that no child goes without this holiday season.
Shop for a Child
Make the holidays extra special by shopping for one or more children in our community! Choose to sponsor 1, 2, 3, or 4+ children, with a commitment of approximately $350 in clothing, essentials, and special gifts per child.
Your shopping list will include two pairs of pants, two shirts, pajamas, underwear, socks, shoes, a fleece jacket, a sweatshirt, an age-appropriate book, and a special gift from each child's wish list.
Once you've signed up, you'll receive each child's clothing sizes, preferences, and wish list to help guide your shopping.
Please drop off all gifts unwrapped at either our Seaside or Salinas Clubhouse by Wednesday, December 2. The Club will provide wrapping paper and materials for the families.
