Summer is just around the corner, and thanks to your past support, thousands of kids throughout Monterey County are counting down the final weeks of school with excitement and anticipation for the months ahead.
The Boys & Girls Club strives to ensure that all children have access to great summers filled with fun adventures in safe environments. Your support enables us to serve families who need us most, especially during these times of economic uncertainty. That’s why, for the first time ever, we aspire to serve over 1,000 local youth with structured activities that include academic enrichment, outdoor camps and healthy meals. This summer program is completely free of cost to Monterey County families.
On weekdays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, youth engage in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art,
& Math) projects and strengthen their literacy skills. Kids and teens will take on new challenges through sports and leadership coaching. We are also providing reliable supervision, transportation to the Clubs in the mornings, and three healthy meals daily so no child goes through the day hungry.
This summer, we are expanding our reach even further. From free field trips,camps, sports clinics, to day trips through Monterey Regional Parks, youth will explore Monterey County, build confidence, and create lasting memories — at no cost to all families.
