2026 PACIFIC REGION YOUTH OF THE YEAR!

We are still celebrating our very own Youth of the Year, Nianti, for being named the Boys & Girls Clubs of America 2026 Pacific Region Youth of the Year!

Nianti’s inspiring journey began in October when she was selected as Monterey County’s Youth of the Year. From there, she advanced to the state competition in Napa and then to the regional competition in Phoenix, Arizona, where she competed against outstanding youth representatives from Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. 

Now, Nianti will move on to the National Youth of the Year competition in New York this October.

A 9-year member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Nianti currently holds a 4.4 GPA, volunteers regularly at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center, and plans to attend the University of California San Diego this fall, where she hopes to become a pediatrician.
