BGCMC Offers Free Summer Academy for the First Time Ever
8 weeks: June 8th - July 31st

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, we’re thrilled to announce that our Summer Academy will be completely FREE for the first time ever. From June 8 through July 31, youth at our Salinas and Seaside Clubhouses will enjoy enriching activities, sports, field trips, STEAM learning, and nutritious meals in a safe, supportive environment. Our Gonzales Teen Innovation Center will also remain open throughout the summer for youth in grades 6–12.

Participants will also receive free breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks through the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Teens can gain valuable hands-on experience through the Club’s Workforce Readiness Program, which offers internships in youth development, food service, and facility support. Space is limited, and registration is now open on a first-come, first-served basis.
