Greta Richards

I had a career opportunity to come to the Central Coast in 2008 but more importantly it was the opportunity to be closer to my god-children. Being a part of their lives, watching them grow and develop has been a true blessing.

I have been a volunteer and supporter of organizations in the past but always ones that focused on children. I was a volunteer for Big Brothers & Sisters for 9 years in Dallas and for My House in Atlanta for several years.

I believe every child has a right to be safe, healthy, educated and the opportunity to thrive. Upon my first tour of the Boys & Girls Club, I realized this organization strives to provide just that. The programs offered, the caring staff and the investment made to provide opportunities and prepare our youth for a bright future are very impressive.

I am very proud to be part of this organization. I encourage you to take a tour of the Club, either Seaside or Salinas and see for yourself the amazing ways lives are changed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County.
