The community stands witness to the challenges of under privileged kids that want, and deserve, a chance for a full and rewarding life.  This chance is well within reach, with help from our community."

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County have been a vital part of this community for over 35 years. Although we feel we know our community, we would like our community to know more about us.  We have come to realize that many of the people we seek to reach are not aware of how they can benefit from our services. Those who could donate time or make contributions might be unaware of the role we play in the lives of Monterey County’s youth.  Monterey County is a unique place with some of California’s most treasured coastlines and fertile farmlands.  It is also a place shared by a wide spectrum of families, ranging from affluent to financially challenged. It is our goal to educate this spectrum about our organization.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, through its 2 facilities, has accepted the challenge of helping the children of the area’s financially challenged families realize their potential. This, in turn, makes the community a better place to live.
